Abstract

At Ñawi we have always considered that academic journals can and should generate reflections charged with critical thinking. And we believe that we achieved it again in the present volume. It is structured in three sections, with the addition of an interesting review as the closing of the issue. In the first section, we have what we call “Miscellaneous”, the reader will find a set of articles that deal with different topics, all of them exciting: cinema made in different parts of the world, pre- Hispanic visual culture, indigenous painting, artivism or the intersections that can occur between art and engineering. These are some of the many issues analyzed in the published works, which deal with the different analytical perspectives and multiple theoretical frameworks. We invite the reader to review the table of contents, as it will show that the titles of the articles offered are truly appearing. Then, in a second section, in a monograph entitled “New communicative practices in a new changing world”, the results of the best papers presented at the II International Congress of Researchers in Audiovisual Communication and Information Technologies 2023, where the readers can enjoy four valuable papers framed in the field of audiovisual communication and information technologies. In the third part, you will find two suggestive articles within the permanent section “Seduce and Excite” which is dedicated to the world of design and brand management. This section was inaugurated in the previous volume. Finally, Ñawi readers can enjoy a review of a prestigious international film festival held in Switzerland.
