The Technological in communication, education, and cinema (Introduction)

Abstract

Social networks and digital universes, which have revolutionized many dimensions of our lives, have allowed the interpretations of everyday life to be more dynamic. As a result, research in this area is becoming increasingly diverse and constantly updated. In this exciting context of incessant change, the speakers of the third edition of the International Congress of Researchers in Audiovisual Communication and Information Technologies, held in October 2024 at the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication of our beloved ESPOL, in the city of Guayaquil, have managed, with their different contributions, to carry out a theoretical approach to certain communicative dynamics that take place in today's world. Some of these papers, transformed into articles, have been collected in this volume by Ñawi. The reader will be able to enjoy works that deal with different topics, such as the impact of techno-politics through the social network TikTok, Education facing the challenge of Artificial Intelligence, the hypertextuality of radio, and the sounds of cinema.
