Abstract

The renowned Peruvian lyricist and muralist Elliot Urcuhuaranga, better known as Elliot Tupac, he visited the city of Guayaquil on past June 2. Tupac's art has taken him far, exposing his visual products in different spaces of the world, in this way has stood out as one of the most contemporary precursors important of the Popular Chart. An integral urban artist, his interest part of the encounter with the letters and the "popular" environment represented in signs, posters, serigraphs, murals, among others Projects. Its passage through Ecuador is due to the development of the workshops Professionals: Letters with Identity and Popular Lettering, which dictated in the cities of Guayaquil, Cuenca and Loja. In these spaces, Urcuhuaranga transmits its experiences and development techniques type in pencil, brush, tools for the elaboration of this popular art.
