Granada, España Abstract Since the arrival of cinema in Colombia, the road has not been easy. The first filmmakers were in complex economic situations that on numerous occasions even put at risk the continuity of film activity in this country. A whole network of financial, fiscal and propaganda aid by the Colombian State, as well as an extensive legislative body, in addition to the tenacity of directors, producers and filmmakers in Colombia, will lead this activity to become what we can consider today as a true industry.
