Abstract

The article addresses the relation between
audiovisual, memories and archives, with
special interest in the investigation perspective
focused on artistic practice, proffering some
reflections on the audiovisual work that draws
on archive materials. In particular we refer
to the production process of an interactive
audiovisual piece that inquires in the memory construction on an area that worked as a package and luggage storehouse of Tandil city’s (Buenos Aires province, Argentina) railway station during most of the XXth century, its further abandonment and its recovery for cultural and artistic use in the first years of the XXIst century.
